Srinagar City, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir State, lies in the centre of the Kashmir valley at 34.50 North longitude and 74.50 East longitude. It is 1524 metres above sea level. The most beautiful spot is the temple of Shankarcharya on a hill over looking the city. The other is the Hariparbat hill with a fort on its top. The city is spread on both the banks of the river Jhelum for about 6.5 kms.

On Arrival at Srinagar you will meet and greet our representative at the Sheikhul Alam International Airport who will escort you to hotel /houseboat .Have a rest for a while & start your local sightseeing . Attractions - Dal Lake ,Nishat Garden,Shalimar Garden,Dargah Hazrat Bal Shrine,Shalimar Bagh,Shankar Acharya Temple ,Jamia Masjid , Pari Mahal, Cheshma Shahi Dal Lake :-The jewel crown of Srinagar city , the Dal lake is synonymous to a visit to Srinagar and almost a visual definition of the town. Spread over 26 square kilometers, it is the most photogenic stretch of paradise on earth and undoubtedly also the most sought after attraction. It is situated in the midst of beautiful lush green mountains and is the most pristine view of nature in all its glory. Facilities such as Shikara boat rides, house boats and lake markets make this place a favorite among tourists. Nishat Garden :-Built in the Mughal era, donning its majestic architecture, are the Mughal gardens. The garden is a combination of the Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Gardens & Chashm-e-Shahi. The most prominent feature of the gardens its long stretches of cascading fountains makes this a must see for every traveler. Laid out in 1633, the Nishat Bagh fondly known as the Garden of Joy. Its beauty is enhanced by the well-manicured landscapes, long avenues of Chinar & cypress trees, rare flowering plants, 12 terraces & several bubbling fountains that's cover the whole expanse of the garden. Hazratbal Shrine :- Hazratbal Mosque, situated on the western shore of the pristine Dal Lake, is a very sacred Muslim shrine in Hazratbal. Hazratbal's special significance is derived from the fact that it houses a heir of the prophet Muhammad, a relic, titled Moi-e-Muqqadas. The relic is only displayed to the public on. Shalimar Bagh :- One of a beautifully laid garden by Mughal emperor Jahangir. Exhibiting the exemplary craftsmanship of Mughals in horticulture, the place is quite popular with tourists from all over the world. Shankar Acharya Temple :-Visit this effulgent, age old temple in Srinagar to feel closer to the gods. Situated at a height of about 1100 feet on the south-east of the city, this sacred temple offers splendid views of the valley and the snow clad mountains of the Pir Panjal range. Jammai Masjid :- The calm serenity of this Masjid makes you feel more connected and closer to the Almighty. Jama Masjid is one of the oldest and the biggest mosques in Kashmir. Pari Mahal :- The House of Fairies or Pari Mahal is a historic monument placed above the beautiful Chashma Shahi Gardens near Srinagar. A well-laid spacious garden surrounds this structure, which was once a Buddhist monastery and later served as a school of astrology promoted by the eldest son of Shah Jahan, Dara... Chesma Shahi :- With spellbinding beauty and aesthetic fountains, The Chashmeshahi Garden is a famous tourist destination. After Breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Yusmarg(Meadows of Jesus) Yusmarg is a small meadow set in the heart of mountains to the south-west of Srinagar. It is an ideal picnic spot and the Nilnag Lake can be visited from here. A two hour drive from Srinagar (47 kms ) will take you to acres upon acres of grassy meadow ringed by forests of pine, and towering beyond them, awesome and majestic snow clad mountains. Attractions :-Shali Ganga/Parihace Maidan /Footprints of Shahi Hamdan In the morning after breakfast proceed to Doodhpathri , valley of milk, located in Budgam district, lies in bowl shaped valley in Pir Panjal Range. Its an alpine valley covered with snow clad mountains. Not a lot of tourists come to this place. After some quiet and peaceful time at Doodhpathri, be back to Srinagar for overnight stay. In the morning after breakfast, full day excursion to Sonmarg (Meadows of Gold).. Sonmarg is known as gateway of Ladakh. Attractions :-Thajiwas Glacier ,Zojila Pass/Zero point Opening up umpteen number of opportunities for hiking, trekking, and camping, Thajiwas Glacier is one of the best Sonmarg attractions that one must not miss during their trip to Kashmir. Home to a stunning glacier, the refreshing meadows, and numerous waterfalls, Thajiwas Glacier is every bit of stunner and a true Located high on the Indian National Highway 1D, Zoji La is one of the highly perched, and dangerous yet thrilling mountain passes in Kashmir. It not only connects Srinagar to Leh but it is one of those thrilling tourist places in Sonmarg that takes you a step closer to the Himalayas. In the morning after breakfast there will be full day tour to Gulmarg (Meadows of Flowers) 57 km approx. It takes two and half hour to reach Gulmarg from Srinagar. In Gulmarg taking a Gondola ride is a must. Reckoned to be world’s second highest cable car project, Gulmarg Gondola is two-tiered ride. In the first phase, the visitors are taken to Kongdori, which is situated at a height of 2600m; and in the second phase, the visitors are taken to an elevation of 3747m at Aparwath Peak. The view from Gulmarg Gondola is truly commendable as on a clear sky day one can even witness the magnificent Nanga Parbat as well. St.Mary’s Church :-A Victorian style Church, St.Mary’s is a small place of worship in Gulmarg. The church is famed for its stained glass artwork and utter peace. The church is only accessible by trekking, so one also has the option of experiencing a little adventure on the way. Khilanmarg :-Khilanmarg is the most popular sightseeing place near Gulmarg. It is situated at a short distance of 4kms from Gulmarg and is a beautiful little valley. Tranquil and serene, Khilanmarg is adorned by varieties of flowers in summer time. One can easily trek to Khilanmarg and enjoy the views of Nanga Parbat and the twin peaks Nun and Kun. Mahrani Temple :-Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Maharani Temple is perched atop a hillock in Gulmarg. It is reckoned to have been built by Queen Mohini Bai Sisodhia, the wife of the erstwhile ruler of Kashmir, Maharaja Hari Singh and thus is named as Maharani Temple or Rani Temple. This red-rooftop temple along with being a sacred place is also a popular tourist attraction in Gulmarg and has been featured in Bollywood flick named Aap Ki Kasam. Situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from Sheshnag Lake and the Lidder river, Pahalgam(2,130m) was once a humble shepherd’s village with breath taking views. Now it is Kashmir’s premier resort, cool even during the height of summer when the maximum temperature does not exceed 25deg... The thick pine timberland that lends the green-carpet look to the glade gives a differentiating hue to snow-topped crests of the encompassing mountains. Aru Valley :- A small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 12 km from Pahalgam. The drive up to the village is alluring too. The location of the village among the grasslands, make this place a tourist delight. It is reachable by walking along a mountain path. The village also serves as the start point for trekking to Kolahoi glacier. Another long trek for the serious trekker is to Sonamarg, which can be covered in 3 days! Besides, the valley is also known to be a good site for camping. Betaab Valley :-. The valley owes its name to the film stars Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film ‘Betaab’. The valley lies to the northeast of Pahalgam, in the middle of Pahalgam and Chandanwadi, and is characterized by lush green meadows and snow clad mountains. Betaab Valley is an immensely popular tourist destination, besides being a favorite stop for camp travelers and those looking to trek and explore the mountains further. Chandanwari:- located on the periphery of Pahalgam, is one of the top tourist places having great religious importance. Gateway of Amarnath Yatra , undulating landscapes and sporadic greenery overhangs the topography of this little and picturesque hamlet. Mamleshwar Temple :-With a rich history dating back to the 12th century, Mamaleshwar is among the ancient temples in Pahalgam. Set on the bank of River Lidder, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple encloses a plinth and a Shiva Lingam, with a sparkling water spring covered by a gorge. Located One km downstream from Pahalgam, tourists generally walk to the temple from the town. From DAKSUM to Sinthan Top is one such destination that caught the tourists’ eye recently when the construction of Kokernag- Kishtwar national highway road started. At a distance of around 48 kilometres from Kokernag and located at a height of 3748 meters, Sinthan top became tourist favourite because of its magnificent location and breathtaking beauty.
